about Atmasyon spekülatif and other blogs in my neigbourhood

I started another blog in Turkish. It is called “atmasyon spekülatif”. “Bu.” is going to participate to this new one also.

I also designed a new template for Atmasyon Spekülatif which is tidier than Ogo’s Attic. I would try to optimise it and make it work smoothly and laterwards I would be changing the face of Ogo’s Attic.

We will see how I will deal with both of them. By the way my wife started her weblog also. It is El Rincon de Greta and it would be full of recipes ! (This one is in Spanish..)

Also Martin Mystere is lately busy with some professional projects but he is about to make a come back to blogging. A new design for his blog is also on the production line. We will see when I could do it. Of course, sooner it is, better it will be.

Online translator from Instituto Cervantes

Instituto Cervantes, the official institute of Spain to promote spanish language have put online its automatic translator. It permits the translation of web pages and texts from spanish to catalan, portuguese, french and english.

Compared to the similar online services like Google and Altavista Babel Fish Translator their only extra seem to be the inclusion of Catalan.

Two facades – Barcelona

While strolling around Barcelona with a friend of mine I did two pictures :

First one is a detail from Bulevard Rosa building on Paseo de Gracia and the second one is a shot from the new Torre Agbar of french architect Jean Nouvel which is built on Avenida Diagonal.

Although two popular architectural jewels of Antoni Gaudi – La Pedrera and Casa Batlló – and several other examples of modernist period are standing all along Paseo de Gracia and in the neighbourhood of Eixample, Bulevard Rosa building creates a graphically different and contradictory view to its surrounding with the calculated design of its façade.

One of the symbols of the changing and renewing face of Barcelona, Torre Agbar, besides creating speculations provoked due to its form among the citizens of Barcelona, manages to add color and new textures to the cityscape.
