So here we go, a selection of photos that I took during our trip to Prague in April 2006.
>Franz Kafka and Alphonse Mucha’s fame yields them dominant on the billboards among lots of other cultural activities that are proposed in Prague.
>Busstop in Lycolaje, outskirts of Prague.
>Lycolaje, Prague.
>Sculptures of Olbram Zoubek were presented near the old city center. This street exhibition could be seen until June 04 2006.
>Prague is (if not the first) one of the most important cities for puppet art lovers. You could find lots of different theatres and shops specialized in this meticulous form of expression.
>Also a Czech animation feature film, FimFaRum 2 was about to make the movie theaters.
>Beer lovers feel themselves lucky in Prague.
>Babiccina placka guy and lady and someone holding a delicios babiccina placka roll.
>Streets around Mustek district and a view from the National Museum.
>Motorcycle courier in the old city center of Prague
>City is full of old “antique” cars at the service of tourists but I like this Peugeot 304 more than the other brilliant and old cars.
>Legendary Skoda parked in a street next to the Jewish district of Prague.
>Prague is also a city of hills and old pavements.
>The painted wall is called John Lennon wall. In the old days this wall and the writings and drawings on it were the symbol of the ideas and desires of Czech society. Now it is only tourist spot.
>Staromestska metro station in Prague. The public transport functions really well in our opinion.
>Horse drawn carriages are also serving the tourists. The carriage riders are cool and they talk on mobile phone while driving.
>Prague also is a city of trams.
>One of the sculptures on the famous and crowded Charles Bridge and the view of the castle.
>Riverside of Prague
>The old city center, cathedral, astronomical clock and of course tourists like us.
>Some street views from the city center.
>and some other curiosities from Prague:
> and my broken umbrella that could not stand the strong wind and raindrops… take your umbrella with you !!!
