Although Villa has a clear opportunity and Messi missed a penalty. In the last minute Alves scored a header after a great combination with Messi. 5-1

FC Barcelona – Hercules CF, Camp Nou
FC Barcelona is going to play against newcomers Hercules CF in the first match of the La Liga 2010-2011. Today is also the day of Catalonia (la diada de catalunya). I am sure that due to la diada celebrations, good weather and early timing of the match Camp Nou would be nearly packed thanks to grand parents, kids and tourists. I spotted a few Hercules CF fans in the bar next door and they seem to be happy.
Javier Mascherano would make his debut in Camp Nou.
Hercules scored the1st goal. Barça is not organised. Xavi doesn’t play and midfiels misses him. Minute 28.
Half time: Hercules CF leads 1-0 and Barça fans are already murmuring the famous ‘avui patirem’ (today we’ll suffer)

Lol. Hercules scored their second goal of the evening. 2-0.
Diada celebration of Barça fans resulted to be a clear victory of Hercules CF of Alicante.
