Prado’nun kökenlerinin okyanusla harman olmus Galicia bölgesinden oldugunu dikkate alInca projenin deniz kültürünü olusturan insanlar ve efsanelere iliskin olmasi sasirtici olmuyor. Alexander Petrov’un cam üzerine boyanmIs saheseri “ihtiyar adam ve balikçI”nda oldugu gibi Miguelanxo Prado’da canlandIrma sinemasi gibi büyük özveri ve organizasyon gerektiren bir alanda yaratIcI ve üretici sorumluluklarinin neredeyse tamamini üzerine alarak sadece kendi stilinin uygulanmasi üzerinde konsantre olmayi hedeflemis. Çizgi filmin sanat biçimi olarak taniminin hizla degistigi ve ticari anlamda destekli calismalarin gereginden fazla gürültü kopartilarak ortaya sürüldügü günümüzde Prado ve onun gibi yaratIcIlarIn cesur denemelerinin tamamlanabilmelerini keyifle izliyorum.

Summer Breeze, An independent animation project

A researcher in Kyoto has discover a lost Japanese animated film made around 1900, making it the oldest of its kind in the country, reports MAINICHI INTERACTIVE….

The 35-millimeter, celluloid film consists of 50 frames stuck together with paste. It shows a boy in a sailor suit who writes Chinese characters, “katsudo shashin” (moving picture), takes off his hat and gives a salute. The images were drawn directly on the celluloid frames in black and red ink. The creators of the film are unknown….

ps : world’s oldest animation (in form of a sequence of pictures) was discovered in Iran last december..
